We were commissioned to prepare depot development master plan and feasibility study for MRTA. The depot site, 160 ha. in area, is presently being developed to house MRTA train depot, maintenance workshops and associated facilities.
As part of the F.S. and master plan, additional land uses have been identified which can be
developed on this site to meet the MRTA's objective of generating revenues for financing its
future extensions, increase rider ship on its system and maximize the site's potential due to it's central location.
Our proposed master plan is based on the concept of creating a techno transit district for Bangkok. The master plan proposal will yield app. 4.5 million sqm of built-up area for public, commercial, retail, residential and transit related uses.
