Located on an idyllic site, in Petchaburi province, few kilometers from the world famous resort town of Huahin, Wimansiri retreat is a place where you can experience an absolute withdrawal from the hustle of everyday life. The beauty and morphology of the site inspired our planning and design philosophy.
The project components feature:
Guest villas planned in clusters around the manmade lake maximizing the relationship between living areas and nature.They are open structures with large openings and single pitch roofs.
Simple built form nestled and integrated in nature. The villas are passively cooled with a
combination of overhang, shades and operable windows. The building materials are all locally sourced.
A spa complex dedicated to 3 holistic treatments
Natural food and drinks,
Sleeping breathing therapies,
Natural Exercise, a system of physical activities that efficiently and optimally promotes natural condition in, by reproducing essential aspects of our ancient and long-evolved human life and
activity patterns in nature.
The entire planning of the site is driven by an absolute devotion and care for the natural
environment. All natural waterways and a manmade lake form a rain harvesting system. Organic farm producing all what is needed for the guests and their well being. A restaurant serving guests and outsiders freshly cooked meals from the organic farm.
