The general school master plan concept draws from the original Thai village planning principles which are based on the radial planning that enable a harmonious and organic growth of the campus. The main principles for the concept; Plan the land use to minimise land cut and fill and use natural topography. Maximise North/South Orientation. Car free campus with a ring road access. Locate the Learning resource Centre along the main pedestrian spine to encourage better use of the facility. Canteens are centralised between sport zone and education zone. Link all zones through a network of covered walkways. Parking in 2-3 zones to facilitate access to different school areas. Bus parking to be centralised. Open spaces will be provided as an essential amenity to support learning . They form a safe, accessible, identifiable outdoor environment for children to interact with nature.The master planning and building concept is to create a built educational environment which improve cognitive ability and motor skills, and promote creativity, emotional wellness, pro-social values and attachment to the natural world through structured and unstructured activities and experiences that motivate learning.
