  The skywalk was opened to the Thai public. Its function is  to enhance  visitors’ accessibility to the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). BITEC  Sky Walk provides access from the Sukhumvit Road, via an elevated walkway, complete with travelators which will ensure visitors will have a convenient access to the exhibition and convention centre .  It will soon be connected to the BTS Bangna which will make it the most accessible exhibition and convention centre in Bangkok.
